30th Anniversary Gala Dinner (2024)

PES celebrated its 30th anniversary since its founding in 1994. The 30th Anniversary Gala Dinner was held on 22 November 2024 at the Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre Hotel. A total of 120 members and friends of PES from different business and industry were gathered in the Gala Dinner to celebrate the event. The event was sponsored by the following organisations:

2. Highway International Pte Ltd
3. Oaks Paves Pte Ltd
4. Samwoh Corporation Pte Ltd
5. United E & P Pte Ltd
6. Vector Green Pte Ltd
To commemorate the event, several awards were presented to organisations and individuals to recognize their contribution and support for PES and the Singapore pavement industry over the past 30 years. The award winners based on the respective category and criteria are as follows:
1. Award – PES Excellent Long Service Award
Criteria: a PES member who has served as Council Member for 25 years or more
Awardee:
a) Mr. Koh Hoon Lye (25 years)
1. Award – PES Long-Term Industry Partner Award
Criteria: an organisation, institution or individual who has provided support to PES in kind of:
At least two sponsorships for PES events in the last 5 years, or
At least four sponsorships for PES events in the past 10 years
Awardee:
a) Engineering Laboratory Electronics (S) Pte Ltd
b) Highway International Private Limited
c) Samwoh Corporation Pte Ltd
d) Shell Construction and Road
e) United E&P Pte Ltd
1. Award – PES Pavement Engineering Contribution Award
Criteria: an individual who has, in the opinion of PES Council, made significant contributions and outstanding achievements in the field of pavement engineering that benefit the Singapore pavement industry and the society at large
Awardee:
a) Mr. Eapen John from Paves Asia Pacific Pte Ltd
b) Dr. Ho Nyok Yong from Samwoh Corporation Pte Ltd
c) Dr. See Soo Loi from NSL Chemicals Ltd
d) Mr. Tan Hua Soon from Oaks Paves Pte Ltd
