About the event
It is exciting to have the ICPT Conference returning to Thailand 14 years after the 7th ICPT was held in Bangkok in 2011. It has been more than 30 years since the ICPT conference series was kicked off in 1993 in Singapore. The main aim of the conference series is to promote pavement R&D and the adoption of good practice and sustainable technology in various phases of pavement development, encompassing design, construction, maintenance and rehabilitation activities. The current focus of ICPT is on the fast-developing East Asian regions, with special emphasis on encouraging interaction of pavement professionals and researchers among Asian countries, and exchanging experience and technology with other parts of the world.
We have made good progress in the last 30 years. As of now, 11 cities in countries in East Asia have hosted ICPT conferences. The host cities include Singapore, Beijing, Kunming, Seoul, Sapporo, Bangkok, Taipei, Dalian, Hong…
